Clinic - Breaking 100 (Skill Levels 2 & 3)

Please Note: Our leagues and clinics are designed and set up for our EWGA Members. Non members are welcome to enroll at a non-member fee if space is available. Please contact Clinics for details.

Cost:
$69.00 – due with registration
(Clinic consists of 3 sesssion)

Dates:
 Sunday May 7th 3:00 – 5:30pm
Saturday May 20th 4:00 – 6:30pm
Sunday June 4th 3:00 – 5:30pm

Objectives: The EWGA has designed skills based education programs to target the needs of different groups of golfers: “Breaking 100” is focused on the group of golfers who are trying to score below 100 on a regular basis.

(This clinic has a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20--sign up today to reserve your spot).

The “Breaking 100” clinic includes the following:

  • Keys to Consistency
    • addresses pre-swing fundamentals that give the student the best possible chance of making a consistent swing
  • Equipment Can Work For You
    • helps students understand the basics of choosing clubs that will work best for them and how to choose the right set of clubs for your bag so you have the clubs you need for each shot on the course.
  • Strategies for the 1st Tee
    • helps students learn to overcome “first tee jitters” and get their round off to a better start. Topics covered include proper warm-up, prepare your mind for the first tee, and choosing a shot and club.
  • Getting to the Green in Fewer Shots
    • designed to help students understand the choices that are available to help them get to the green successfully based on their own skills and abilities (often referred to as “course management”)
  • Simple Shots Around the Green
    • helps students understand the “simple” shots around the green – putting and chipping. Topics include understanding how to chip with a variety of clubs, and understanding what shot to choose in a variety of different situations.
  • Making Sand a Day at the Beach
    • intended to reduce the “fear” of playing from the sand and help students learn the basic shots and techniques to get the ball out of the sand and safely back in play.
  • Putting Made Simple
    • focused on helping students have a better chance of getting the ball in the hole in 2 putts.
