A Fundraiser for Rainforest Conservation in Costa Rica
Location: 111 Minna Gallery, 111 Minna St., San Francisco
Cocktail reception, food & mini-expo
Time: 7 pm - 9 pm
Suggested Donation: $20 at the door, 21+
(includes after-party)
After-Party with DJs:
Time: 9 pm - 2 am
Admission: $10 at the door, 21+ (for after-party only)
An evening of music, food, cocktails, guest speakers, exhibitors, and more to benefit CRCT and help raise money to save an immediately endangered area of rainforest in Costa Rica, and to create a mini-expo and networking event
to raise awareness and educate guests on other organizations that are promoting respectful relationships with the Earth.
The event aims to provide a comfortable environment where eco-friendly and green-minded organizations and businesses can share and provide information about their efforts and
causes; all under a central theme of "rejuvenating" the Earth, body, mind and soul.
Mini-expo/Networking Reception with (7 pm - 9 pm):
* Complimentary organic & raw foods
* Wine tastings by local companies
* $3 cocktail drink specials by Bacardi Limon ($1 from each drink donated to CRCT)
* Information tables by organizations and green-businesses
* Complimentary hand massages by Aveda
* Animals, birds and reptiles from the rainforest (come pet a Boa!)
* Special guest speakers on topics of conservation and sustainable living
* Chair Massages provided by Sanctuary for the Senses
* Raffle (Win a trip to Costa Rica! & other prizes)
* Tropical lounge music by Tal M. Klein (SF-Vibe.com)
* Rainforest media installation by Stephen Williams
After-Party (9 pm - 2 am):
DJ party with Soulsalaam, Laird, and Michael Manahan.
